We have seen over the last couple of days that partnership is essential to our Maximized Life Journey.  While we need to be cautious of takers that are around us, there is a Great Giver who desires to partner with us in life.  This partner waits silently by, desiring us to regard Him, respect Him, and rely upon Him.  Our Chief Partner on this Journey is God!  How have we partnered with Him?

To properly regard, respect and rely upon our Chief Partner, it will require us to change.  Change is not a bad word and on this second week of the journey, it should be welcome because change will always lead us to another level of living.  Change is a product of human effort sustained by divine help.

What are some vital changes that we can make to more effectively (maximize) partner with God?  It will require us to change our perspective.  We should begin to see things as God sees them.  This means our capacity to believe will be expanded.  God is a Big God and He has big dreams in store for us!  Next, we will need to change our position.  Where are we or with whom are we that could be jeopardizing our purpose?  Honest assessment should be taken of the people and places in our lives.  Are they helping or hindering our Maximized Life?  Are they drawing us closer or farther from our Chief Partner?  If they are having a negative effect then we will need to distance ourselves from them.  It’s time to make a change.  Lastly, we must change our praise!  God does not abide complaining and grumbling– AT ALL!  (Truth be told, most people don’t like it either.)  If our words are filled with praise then we will invite God’s presence into our lives and situations.

Spend some time today maximizing the greatest relationship available to you!  Your life will be better because of it!
