First: Start where you are.
Many people like to make promises contingent upon a future state: “If I get to this level, I promise that I will do such and such.” However, God has given each of us what we can handle right now and He is waiting on us to prove that we will manage what He has given us properly so that we will be pre-qualified for more! Our beginnings may be small but they will not remain that way if we will properly manage our resources.
Second: Become a consistent tither!
The Bible is clear about our responsibility as Believers to Tithe! So many people want to accept part of the Bible but not all of it. How can we accept John 3:16 but not Malachi 3:8? It’s all from the same Bible! One thing is certain, I have never heard a consistent tither complain about God’s blessings. But, I have heard people who rob from God say how they are struggling. (To be honest, there are people who don’t tithe and they say they are blessed but they are not. They may be financially comfortable but the tithe covers more than money!!!)
Third: Go beyond the tithe.
As we saw earlier, the tithe is the responsibility of the Believer, but the offerings are fully freewill and an act of love to God! When we become seed faith minded, we target our giving to Biblical promises. Every seed will meet a need in our lives. In the Bible, needs were always addressed by a seed. Our giving invites God to intervene is our affairs.
Fourth: Speak God’s Word continually.
Just like water to a seed, our confession waters our financial seed so that it will produce the maximum harvest. God’s power is released when we speak His Word. When we confess God’s Word, we confirm the prosperity that God has planned for us–instead of speaking words of poverty.
Fifth: Listen to teaching on prosperity on a daily basis.
Faith still comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. In order to drive out unbelief in the area of prosperity, we need to listen to teaching on prosperity all the time. People will often ask, “How long do I have to listen to prosperity teaching?” The answer: Until you are tired of listening to it and then, keep on listening. There is always another level! And, Maximizers want to get everything that God has promised!
Sixth: Meditate on increase!
We will learn more about meditation in a couple of days but until then, meditation is musing and muttering about a topic. You should spend some time quietly painting a picture of your increase and prosperity. Then, thank God for bringing it to pass.
Start these practices today and you will be on the fast track to prosperity.
Tomorrow we will see six more steps!
